Welcome to CCC

Counselling and Coaching isn’t necessarily about working on your issues, problems or relationships, it’s about working on you.

Rachel Bradbury:

My name is Rachel Bradbury and I am a qualified, registered Coach and Counsellor working in Bingley, West Yorkshire.

I have varied experience working both previously and currently with both adults and young people and offer one-to-one sessions for both, (age 14 and above) either face to face, online or in your own home (distance limits apply).

I work integratively, meaning I use a number of different approaches to personalise our sessions, tailoring them to your individual needs. My way of working is based on reflections of my own therapy and lived experience. I aim to build a trusting, open and confidential relationship, enabling us to explore your thoughts and feelings comfortably and openly. I believe that, by working together we can increase your capacity for achieving your goals, creating personal change and feeling more in control of yourself and your life.

I have twelve years’ working experience supporting others in the education sector (secondary schools and further education colleges), the NHS and the VCS (Voluntary and Community Sector) as well as 4 years voluntary experience with The Samaritans.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Phychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) and the Association for Coaching (AC).

My first session

Initially, I offer a free 20 minute session either online or face to face centred around introductions. Introducing each other, introducing and understanding what brings you to therapy, introducing any fears, questions, hopes or expectations you have and establishing if we feel comfortable working together. This session is also an opportunity to think about whether the service is right for you at this time. I fully understand that this can be a big, unfamiliar and scary decision and is not entered into lightly. If you are unsure if this is for you or want to find out more about who I am and how I work, please talk to me. There is no requirement to sign up to a certain number of sessions and you are free to stop at any time.

What I can help with

I could put a long list of conditions and situations that people find  therapy for but my belief is that therapy is about working with the person and whatever it is they want to bring and talk about. So I can help with ….you!

I can offer short, long or fixed term sessions.  I offer sessions in person in my therapy room, online or on the telephone.  I also offer  sessions at your home (see ‘Concierge’ tab for further details)

1. Individual Therapy: I Offer a supportive and non-judgmental space for you to explore your concerns, identify your strengths, and set  achievable goals. We work with you to develop practical solutions  that align with your values and aspirations. Through our tailored individual therapy sessions, you'll gain clarity, resilience, and the skillsneeded to overcome challenges and create lasting  change. 

 2. Workshops and Training: In addition to individual therapy, we can offer workshops and training programs designed to equip  individuals or groups with a greater understanding of all aspects of mental health from Anxiety to Conflict to Comfort Zones including  solution-focused tools and techniques. These educational  opportunities provide valuable insights and practical strategies that can be applied to various aspects of life, relationships, and work.

My Approach:

I embrace an integrative and client centred approach, tailoring my  therapeutic techniques to meet your needs. I believe that each person is unique and that there is no one-size fits all approach to therapy. Together, we will embark on a collaborative journey, working side by side to move forward.
